FTA launches 2nd phase of Corporate Tax awareness campaign with workshop for SMEs in Abu Dhabi

The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has announced the launch of the second phase of its Corporate Tax awareness campaign, with a workshop specifically tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Abu Dhabi.

 

The workshop aims to educate SMEs about the importance of complying with Corporate Tax regulations and to provide them with the necessary tools and information to navigate the tax system effectively. It will cover topics such as the filing process, tax obligations, and penalties for non-compliance.

 

The FTA has been working to raise awareness about Corporate Tax among businesses in the UAE since its introduction in 2018. The first phase of the campaign targeted larger companies, and the second phase is now focusing on SMEs, which form a significant portion of the UAE's business landscape.

 

The workshop is part of the FTA's ongoing efforts to support businesses in understanding and complying with the tax laws in the UAE.
