Graduated from Boston University’s School of Management in 2005 with a dual concentration in Accounting and Finance and became a qualified ACA member of ICAEW as a Chartered Accountant in 2008 and also a Fellow (FCA) member of ICAEW in 2018.
Currently, he is involved in international tax planning and restructuring services as well as offering sophisticated Banking solutions for jurisdictions involving Eastern European countries (like Poland, Russia and Ukraine), Gulf Region (like Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Asia Region.
Operations Team
Graduated with an BBA from Ascencia Business School and Certified Manager from American Institute of Business and Management (AIBM). Chandre has been a part of the Chrysalis team for many years and has extensive, hands on, experience within this field within the UAE.
Chandre is responsible for the operations of Chrysalis. She processes the company formation applications and once companies are incorporated, she assists with UAE residence visa applications. Additionally, together with the client, she meets the bankers to arrange bank account openings for both corporate and personal bank accounts. Thereafter, Chandre is responsible for any corporate amendments that the clients may require as well as general yearly renewals that are needed.
Graduated from Intercollege with an Associate’s degree in Psychology in 2000, then continued studies to graduate from John Jay College of Criminal Justice of the City University of New York in 2004 with a BA, and in 2008 obtained an MPA (Master’s in Public Administration) with cum laude, and being on the Deans’ List, got awarded from ΠΑΑ the National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration.
Loukia has 20 years of experience in diverse industry sectors with a direct involvement approach. In Chrysalis, Loukia is currently engaged with Corporate administration matters in the UAE, with experience in other jurisdictions as well, for company formation / registration / structure changes / liquidation / strike off, Trust formation, assists with Banking related matters including personal and corporate account opening/closing, and bank account reviews. Additionally, she assists with the drafting of agreements, board resolutions, and Power of Attorneys.
Sales Team
Karen has 7 years in the Business Setup industry / Company Formation. With this career, Karen is always making sure that she is an effective advisor who communicates well with people of all ages and backgrounds.
As the Corporate Sales Officer for the company, Karen is the first contact a potential client has with Chrysalis. She meets with the clients to understand their needs and goals for the company and to ensure that the company is set up in the correct jurisdiction, with the correct activities. Additionally, Karen is responsible for the social media of Chrysalis. She shares the most up to date news relating to the UAE business sectors and well as how and why Chrysalis is the first choice as a Corporate Service Providers for many clients.
Compliance Team
Junaid has completed his Masters in Financial Services and holds valued UAE compliance knowledge. While working at Chrysalis, Junaid is not just focus on completing work but also in continuous learning and evolving.
As Compliance Officer for Chrysalis, Junaid is responsible for ensuring that the company as a whole is compliant with each authority including the FIU, DMCC, CBUAE and up to date with the UAE, UNSC and OFAC sanction lists. Junaid is responsible for registering all applicable companies with the AML portals as well as preparing AML Compliance manuals, reviewing the manuals and all KYC files regularly. He also thoroughly screens all future and existing clients on a regular basis through approved compliance software and the UAE, UNSC and OFAC sanction lists to ensure the company remains compliant.
Alexandra is a Barrister Lawyer and has completed her Master’s in Business Administration.
As MLRO for Chrysalis, Alexandra is responsible to ensure compliance by Employees with the provision of the AML & CFT legislation as well as all the provisions outline in the Manual related to Internal Reporting Procedure. Moreover, she is responsible of investigating and reporting all reports made by Employees relating to money laundering and/or terrorist financing to FIU.
Accounting Team
Andri Orphanidou Gavrielidou is the Head of Accounting of Chrysalis Serve Corporate.
She has been active in the UAE for the last 10 years in servicing a broad clientele of legal entities with their Accounting in services and trading sectors. As the Head of Accounting she is responsible for reviewing accounting treatments of numerous transactions as well as assessment of V.A.T implications.
Maria has an overall experience over 25 years in the field of Accounting.
Maria has been a part of the Chrysalis team since 2019. She is responsible for the internal accounting of the firm and additionally she is providing bookkeeping services to numerous clients of the firm.
She is experienced in providing accounting services to complexed structures.
Graduated from University of Nicosia with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, then continued studies MBA in University of Cyprus
Frixos has 10 years of experience in accounting and finance. In Chrysalis, Frixos is currently engaged with accounting and bookkeeping UAE companies.
Banking Team
Sotia Ioannou joined the firm in 2019 as the Head of Banking. Sotia has been active in the International client sector for more than 20 years.
Her main areas of expertise include banking, corporate, tax structuring and AML. Sotia finds sophisticated banking solutions based on clients’ needs and has built a solid banking network mostly in the jurisdictions of Eastern Europe countries, United Arab Emirates and Asia Region.
